The Texas Rangers Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise has signed a five-year sponsorship deal with Korean car manufacturer Hyundai.
Hyundai has become the official automotive partner of the Rangers with immediate effect.
As part of the deal, the Rangers will rebrand the former Batter's Eye Club, the indoor seating area in centrefield, as the Hyundai Club with appropriate corporate branding throughout.
"Hyundai's sponsorship of the Texas Rangers is a great way for us to connect with some of baseball's most loyal and dedicated fans," said Tom Hetrick, south central regional general manager, Hyundai Motor America. "We're excited to begin a long-standing relationship with the Texas Rangers and continue our legacy of connecting with fans of high-profile sporting events."
