Scottish Premiership side Rangers have partnered with Konami just one day after their arch-rivals Celtic announced a tie-up with the video game giant.

The deal will see the top-flight outfit star in the upcoming PES 2019 soccer game, with faces of all of the team’s players to appear on the game, as well as the club’s Ibrox Stadium.
Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson said: “We are delighted to have entered in to this new partnership with Konami and are excited to see the club and the players perfectly represented within PES 2019.”
“Scottish football enjoys some of the loudest and most ardent fans of any league, and we look forward to this passion manifesting as Rangers makes its debut in PES 2019,” added Jonas Lygaard, senior director of brand and business development at Konami.
Fans of the Scottish soccer giants will also have the opportunity to buy a limited edition of the game with unique Rangers-themed packaging. All versions of PES 2019 are set to be released on 28th August.

The network made famous by the movie ‘Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story’ is dedicated to airing random and bizarre sports.
For its one-off return ESPN 8 will start and end the day by playing the film, with the likes of the Best of Chess Boxing, Cornhole’s ACL Pro Invitational, the 2006 Krystal World Hamburger Eating Championship, the World Ping Pong Championship, airing in between.
