Top-tier Scottish soccer side Rangers have announced a new partnership with Octopi Engineering.
The deal sees the company, which specialises in the design and supply of doors, windows and hatches for the marine industry, become the latest gold member of the Scottish Premiership outfit’s executive club for the 2017/18 season.
The agreement will allow Octopi Engineering to promote its brand across various platforms, including on the club’s new digital display network, matchday programmes, website, stadium screen and live social content.
“The club is delighted to be working in partnership with Octopi Engineering,” said Scott Williams, commercial manager for Rangers. This latest initiative is another example of how the new executive club is engaging with local businesses to offer a package of benefits that go beyond traditional sporting advertising rights and help businesses to reach new audiences.”
Adam Mills, director at Octopi Engineering, added: “Octopi Engineering is delighted to be working with Rangers Football Club – a hugely successful Scottish institution with a proud history and traditions. We are looking forward to making new business connections as the latest gold executive member.”
Rangers are fourth in the Scottish Premiership, and suffered their first home defeat against local rivals Hamilton Academical since 1926 on Saturday. The 54-time domestic champions will be hoping to return to winning ways when they travel to play bottom side Dundee on Friday.
