Second-tier English soccer side Queens Park Rangers have announced a one-year partnership with Sportito.

The company will serve as the Championship outfit’s first ever fantasy sports partner for the duration of the 2017/18 season. The gaming brand  will benefit from a prominent presence on the London-based club’s official website and social media channels, and will offer fan incentives, including opportunities to meet first team players and win matchday tickets and signed merchandise.

Sportito has previously agreed deals with Premier League side Burnley and Championship team Fulham. The financial details of the partnership with QPR were not disclosed.

Euan Inglis, commercial director of QPR, said: “The growth in fantasy sports over the last few years has been substantial, especially fantasy football. The opportunity to win daily prizes on Sportito's platform makes their proposition very exciting. We are delighted to have entered into a partnership with Sportito, as they are a fantasy sports company with big plans over the next few years.”

QPR are tenth in the Championship after five games, and play their next fixture at home to Ipswich on 9th September.
