Puls 4 retains Uefa Europa League rights

Puls 4 has retained the Austrian free-to-air broadcast rights to the Uefa Europa League, European soccer’s second-tier club competition.

The new agreement with the continental confederation, Uefa, covers the 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21 European soccer seasons. Puls 4, which is part of European mass media company ProSiebenSat.1, has shown coverage of the Europa League since 2015.

The financial terms of the renewal were not released.

Uefa’s top-tier club competition, the Champions League, will be shown in Austria through pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland and Perform Group’s subscription over-the-top (OTT) sports platform DAZN.
