Philadelphia Flyers face off with Yuengling

The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Philadelphia Flyers have signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Yuengling.

A variety of the brewery’s products will be made available on the concourse at the Pennsylvania-based ice hockey franchise’s Wells Fargo Center, while the company will also benefit from branded signage inside the arena as well as on digital billboards outside the venue.

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The deal sees Yuengling further its commitment to Philadelphia’s sports teams, having sponsored Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Philadelphia Phillies during the 2017 season.

“The energy and passion generated by the Philadelphia Flyers is a home-state advantage for our company,” said Dick Yuengling, owner and president of Yuengling. “The Flyers bring fans a fun and exciting experience where they enjoy a variety of beers from America's oldest brewery.”

The Philadelphia Flyers are fourth in the NHL’s Metropolitan Division having won two and lost two of their opening four games. They play their next fixture against the Washington Capitals on Saturday.
