Second-tier Italian soccer side Parma Calcio 1913 have entered into a partnership with nutraceuticals company Pharmanutra.
The agreement sees Pharmaneutra's pain-relief cream Cetilar become the front-of-shirt sponsor of the Serie B club for the 2017/18 season.
The company has worked with Parma in the past but has now stepped up its commitment.
As well as the visibility for the brand, Pharmaneutra will provide its full range of healthcare products to Parma's medical staff, aiding in player recovery and injury prevention.
"We are pleased to have closed this agreement," said Luca Carra, managing director at Parma. "Many sponsorship proposals came to us this summer, and we feel we have chosen the most reliable partner. This company has been working with us for years, especially with our medical staff, so we know the seriousness and we are happy that they have chosen us for their growth."
Parma have won one and drawn three of their opening fixtures in this season's Serie B as they continue their attempt to return to the top-tier Serie A. In 2015, Parma were forced to enter the Italian soccer pyramid at the fourth level, having gone into liquidation at the end of the 2014/15 season.
