Pakistan, Canada and the US reach for the STAR

ESPN STAR Sports (ESS), Asia's number one sports channel, has entered into partnership with three major broadcasters to show International Cricket Council (ICC) events in Pakistan, Canada and the USA from 2009 until 2011.

ESPN STAR Sports (ESS), Asia's number one sports channel, has entered into partnership with three major broadcasters to show International Cricket Council (ICC) events in Pakistan, Canada and the USA from 2009 until 2011.

Pakistan Television Network (PTV) has acquired the terrestrial television rights for the ICC events, while multi-platform rights for television, internet and mobile screening have been secured by ATN, Canada's largest South Asian Broadcaster, and online specialists Willow TV.

Events screened will include the ICC Cricket World Cup in South Asia in 2011, as well as the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 and the ICC World Twenty20 this year and in 2010.
