Pac-12 and SiriusXM to launch dedicated radio channel

The Pac-12 Conference is teaming up with SiriusXM to create the first 24/7 radio channel dedicated to Pac-12 sports.

SiriusXM Pac-12 Radio, as the channel will be known, will debut in early 2018 and will provide exclusive Pac-12 programming, including live event coverage, news and call-in shows, to listeners across the United States.

The creation of the channel comes as part of a new multi-year agreement between the Pac-12, which comprises 12 member universities located in the western US, and SiriusXM, whose subscribers will be able to access the new offering via the SiriusXM app, connected devices, and on select SiriusXM satellite radios.

Live coverage will include play-by-play broadcasts of conference events covering an array of men’s and women’s sports, including football, basketball, baseball and softball.

”We are excited to partner with one of the very best in sports radio in SiriusXM, which will support our mission to serve our fans across the country on all media platforms on which they follow Pac-12 sports with the highest quality and most comprehensive content,” said Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott.

“Following on the heels of recent new and renewed partnerships for the Pac-12 Networks with both linear and over-the-top distributors, we remain committed to expanding the exposure and footprint of the Pac-12 member universities and student-athletes.”
