Premier League soccer club Newcastle United have entered a partnership with insurance company Vitality.
The medical insurance firm has linked up with the Magpies as their official wellness partner, which will see it enjoy brand exposure at Newcastle’s St James’ Park home and a wider presence on the club’s digital platforms.
Fans will also benefit from the deal, which will enable them the chance to win club merchandise and match tickets.
Newcastle United’s head of commercial Dale Aitchison said: "Vitality has a proven track record within the health insurance sector and it is a forward-thinking, innovative organisation.
"We are looking forward to working together on exciting new partnership campaigns that harness the collective power of our brands and inspire communities to lead a healthy life."
Vitality chief executive Neville Koopowitz added: “Vitality as a business is founded on a desire to encourage people to take positive steps to improve their health, and through collaboration with elite sporting institutions such as Newcastle United, we believe we can inspire people from many different backgrounds and levels of fitness to make healthier lifestyle choices."
Newcastle, who take on Arsenal when the Premier League returns this weekend, currently sit in the relegation zone and are yet to win this season.
