New partner for European Tennis Federation
The La Manga club, one of European sport's most famous resorts, will be an official partner of the European Tennis Federation for three years, starting in October.
The partnership is likely to see a number of Tennis Europe's key conferences and evetns held at the resort, which features 28 tennis courts, eight soccer pitches, three golf courses and two cricket grounds alongside conference facilities and accommodation.
"This is our first partnership with a leisure resort, and is ideal for Tennis Europe as La Manga Club is a hugely attractive option for players of all abilities and ages," said Olli Mäenpää. "Not only are we proud to recognise and endorse La Manga Club as the leading resort of its kind in Europe, but also its location, facilities and experience provide the perfect setting for our conferences, which provides La Manga Club an ideal opportunity to showcase its services to the key decisions makers from our 49 member nations and the wider tennis industry."
La Manga Club director general Julio Delgado Parejo added: "We are very pleased to have the recognition of Tennis Europe, who are able to offer us a unique platform to communicate our services and facilities throughout Europe.
