The Sherwin-Williams Company, a global leader in the manufacture, development, distribution and sale of coatings and related products, has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA).

Sherwin-Williams will continue as an Official Supplier to the NTRA through 2011 and will offer the equine industry savings of up to 40% on its products through the NTRA Advantage program.

"We are gratified that, even in these difficult economic times, companies such as Sherwin-Williams see the significant value and sales results generated through a relationship with NTRA Advantage," said Terry McElfresh, senior vice president of NTRA Advantage.

"Whenever a member of the industry uses NTRA Advantage, a portion of sales proceeds goes to support NTRA programmes for marketing, advertising, television and legislative and regulatory advocacy, which improves the economics of horse racing and breeding. So in addition to realising significant savings on your purchases, you are supporting the companies that support racing."

To date, NTRA members have saved more than US$60 million through the NTRA Advantage programme. Other NTRA Advantage Official Suppliers include John Deere, UPS, Toshiba, Office Depot, Hallway Feeds, Equine Travel Advantage and Moxie Equestrian
