New York City FC and Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer (MLS) have both signed commercial deals with marketing and printing company the Franklin Group.
The agreement with New York City FC will see the Franklin Group become the franchise’s official local premium provider, allowing the club to offer fans brand gifts and products throughout the season. The company will also help the club create this season’s membership packages for season ticket holders, which will include an exclusive scarf and gadgets.
“We are thrilled to partner with New York City FC” said Franklin Group chief executive Steven Zuller. “Being a New York City-based company ourselves, we are honoured to support both our neighbour, and one of the most dynamic clubs in MLS.”
Meanwhile, the Franklin Group’s partnership with Philadelphia Union designates the company as the preferred promotional printing partner of the club.
“The Franklin Group is the perfect partner for us as we look to enhance our fan experience in new, creative ways,” said Jean-Paul Dardenne, senior vice president of the Union. “Their work in our industry is unsurpassed and it’s a pleasure for us to be among their extensive list of premium partners.”
“Franklin is excited for the opportunity to partner with the Philadelphia Union,” added Zuller. “Major League Soccer is the fastest growing league in North America and the Union remain in the forefront of clubs serving an audience hungry for professional soccer.”
The Franklin Group is already a partner of the New York Red Bulls, another MLS team, while it also has a commercial agreement with the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
