NBA TV nets Euroleague extension

NBA TV has extended its partnership with the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, ensuring that basketball fans in the US will be able to continue watching Europe’s premier club competition for the remainder of the 2016/17 season.

The network will broadcast up to 20 games, and will cover both the regular season and play-offs.

Coverage began on 1st January, when NBA TV televised Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz v Maccabi Tel Aviv. Throughout the season, the channel will broadcast a Euroleague game of the week every Sunday at 3:00pm Eastern Time.

2017 marks the 13th consecutive year that Euroleague games have been shown on NBA TV.

The Euroleague is comprised of the 16 top basketball clubs from across Europe. This year’s final four - the competition’s semi-finals and final – will be held at Istanbul’s Sinan Erdem Dome between 19th and 21st May. Last year’s competition was won by CSKA Moscow.
