The Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) have signed the Klement Sausage Company as an official partner.
The locally based firm becomes the official and exclusive brat, hot dog and sausage provider of the team and their new arena, the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center (WESC), which is due to open later this year.
Under the agreement, Klement’s products will be served at various locations within the venue, while the company will also be the title sponsor of Milwaukee Mondays, a weekly celebration of local musicians and artists held during Bucks home games throughout the NBA season.
“We’re thrilled that Klement’s, a Milwaukee favourite, will be an integral part of the delicious food experience at our new world-class venue,” said Bucks president Peter Feigin. “Klement’s shares our vision for delivering the best authentic local offerings to our guests.”
Established in 1956, Klement’s employs more than 350 people in the Milwaukee market, and is also a sponsor of the Milwaukee Brewers Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise. Financial terms of its Bucks deal have not been released.
