The sponsorship extension is linked to the news that driver Martin Truex Jr. will continue to drive for the team.
An official announcement about both driver and sponsor is expected on Friday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, scene of this weekend's Sprint Cup race. Truex Jr., who currently lies fifth in the series standings, is in his third year with Michael Waltrip Racing.
