Murray joins Fuse ahead of US Open defence
Wimbledon champion Andy Murray has agreed a deal with sports medicine brand Fuse Science.
The 26-year-old Scot, who will begin the defence of his US Open title in New York against Michael Llodra on 26th August, will use and promote the company's range of engineered vitamin and mineral products.
Murray is to receive an equity stake in Fuse Science as part of the deal and joins Tiger Woods on its endorsement roster.
"Andy is one of the top three tennis players in the world right now," said Fuse Science founder Adam Adler. "The fact that he chose Fuse Science to partner with shows the efficacy of our products."
Since reaching the Wimbledon final for the first time in July 2012, Andy Murray has enjoyed a career-best period of success, taking Olympic gold at London 2012, a first Grand Slam title at Flushing Meadows last year and last month becoming the first Briton to win the men's singles title at the All England Club in 77 years.
