Rights agency MP & Silva will market the domestic and global media rights for the Taiwanese top-tier professional baseball league after signing a six-year deal with the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL).
MP & Silva will become the exclusive advisor to the CPBL, which runs the four-team league in Taiwan, for all media rights sales to all broadcast and media platforms, as well as the production of each team's 120-games per season.
Regular season games, the All-Star Series, the Taiwan Series, and the Winter League are all included in the agreement.
The six-year deal kicks in immediately and will run until 2019.

The deal adds to an MP & Silva portfolio that also includes a deal with the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) that saw last year's World Baseball Classic reach a record number of TV viewers.
The CPBL, whose 2014 season begins on 22nd March, saw average attendances jump by almost 150 per cent last year, to 6,079.
