MP & Silva lands Kuwaiti soccer rights
International sports media company MP & Silva has announced that they have extended their partnership with the Kuwait Football Association (KFA) in a deal that will see the agency undertake the distribution of KFA's international media rights.
Under the broadened multi-year deal, MP & Silva will assume the responsibilities of distributing and commercialising KFA media rights on an exclusive basis – including the home-based games involving the Kuwaiti national and Olympic teams, which will encompass the respective qualification matchups of the Olympic Games 2012 and 2016, Fifa World Cup 2014, and AFC Asian Cup 2015.
The deal follows the recent successful stint where MP & Silva represented and distributed the former AFC Cup winner's 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
"We are thrilled to extend our longstanding partnership and strong working relationship with the Kuwait Football Association through this new agreement," said Nicola Antognetti, VP, football acquisitions, MP & Silva. "Having successfully distributed KFA matches across the region over the last couple of years, we are strongly committed to helping Kuwaiti football attain new heights and fresh goal, and we are looking to continue working with the Kuwait FA to build its presence across the Asia-Pacific region."

The Kuwait Football Association has very strong ambitions, and we have set very high growth targets for the next few years, and we are appreciative that MP & Silva have signaled their faith in our development through their continual investment in our football."
