MotoGP in rude health with Quirónsalud renewal

Dorna Sports, the owner and promoter of motorcycling racing series MotoGP, has expanded its agreement with Quirónsalud, the private Spanish hospital group.

The renewal, which extends an agreement that began in 2013, will see Quirónsalud named as the global motorcycling series’ official medical partner, lending its doctors Angel Charte, Xavier Mir and Enric Caceres to Dorna Sports for all races for the duration of the contract.

Quirónsalud will also have strong brand presence on MotoGP’s website and social networks, as well as sponsorship of the Clinica Mobile healthcare services in the paddock at the European races.

“I’m very happy we have signed this agreement because it means we have strengthened our ties to Quirónsalud,” said Pau Serracanta, managing director at Dorna Sports. “Furthermore, we’re now including a digital element in the deal to be able to connect to younger fans, as well as sponsorship of the Clinica Mobile, which is a point of reference in the MotoGP World Championship.”
