Mopar has extended its title sponsorship of the Mile-High National Hot-Rod Association (NHRA) Nationals.

The Chrysler Group-owned car parts company will put its name to the event at Denver's Bandimere Speedway for another three years, continuing the longest-running sponsorship deal in drag racing. Mopar first became a partner of the meeting in 1989.

No financial terms were released.

"Mopar has displayed great dedication, passion and commitment during its record run as the title sponsor of the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals," said NHRA senior vice president of sales and marketing Gary Darcy. "Through Mopar’s involvement, the race has developed a true identity with NHRA race fans and has become one of the favorite stops for NHRA teams on the Mello Yello Series circuit."
