Mexican Football Federation gears up for Fiat-Chrysler partnership

Fiat Chrysler has become a major sponsor of the Mexican Football Federation (MFF), the governing body for soccer in the Central American nation.

Fiat Chrysler Mexico will partner the body at all major soccer competitions over the next two years, beginning with immediate effect and covering the ongoing Confederations Cup, next month's Concacaf Gold Cup, qualifiers for the 2018 Fifa World Cup and the finals tournament itself.

The carmaker will supply a fleet of vehicles for the use of all MFF officials, including playing and coaching staff of the national soccer team.

Mexico face world champions Germany in the Confederations Cup at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi, Russia on Thursday. They qualified for that tournament by winning the 2015 Gold Cup, the continental tournament for national soccer teams from North America, Central America and the Carribean.
