The Force India Formula One team has confirmed that German computer firm Medion will return to the team as an official partner for the 2013 season.
Medion is a long-time backer of Adrian Sutil, who has been re-hired by Force India for the 2013 season, having been dropped for 2012.
The news was formally announced on Thursday but has been inevitable since Sutil beat Frenchman Jules Bianchi to a race seat with the team in February.
Medion Mobile's logos will appear on the cars of Sutil and Scotsman Paul Di Resta, as well as on team kit. Force India will also use a 'wide range' of Medion products throughout the year.
The deal comes ahead of the opening Grand Prix of the season in Australia on Sunday.
Vijay Mallya, team principal and managing director of Force India, said: “We are delighted to welcome back Medion to the Sahara Force India family. They have been a long-term supporter of this team and have played an important role in our Formula One journey.
"They share our competitive spirit and knowledge of high-technology industries, which makes them an ideal fit for this team.”
