Mediapro extends Formula One deal
Mediapro has renewed its deal for the Spanish media rights to Formula One for two more years.
The agreement runs from the start of 2014, with Mediapro’s current five-year contract set to expire at the end of 2013. That deal, which came into effect in 2009, was thought to be worth around €200 million in total.
The financial terms of this extension have not released. However, according to Spanish media reports, it is likely to be at a reduced annual rate from the previous deal.
Mediapro’s Formula One coverage was originally available on La Sexta. However, following the collapse of La Sexta's deal Mediapro, Antena 3 began airing coverage from 2012.blog comments powered by Disqus
