National Football League (NFL) franchise the San Diego Chargers have agreed a sponsorship deal with US money lender LoanMart.
The agreement, described as a ‘multi-level’ deal, covers digital, print and radio marketing exposure at the Chargers’ Qualcomm Stadium home arena, on its official website and across its 11 affiliate radio networks throughout the 2013 season.
The California-based firm struck a similar deal with NFL rivals the Arizona Cardinals in September. No financial terms were released.
“The San Diego Chargers are excited to be entering into a new multi-year partnership with LoanMart,” said Ken Derrett, the Chargers’ vice president and chief marketing officer. “LoanMart is a Southern California-based company that is looking to expand their presence in San Diego. We are confident we can provide a marketing platform that will deliver the results they seek.”
Colby Estes, the director of marketing for LoanMart, added: “We wanted to complete our marketing and branding efforts in San Diego County. Joining the Chargers family was the perfect way to reach the millions of San Diego County residence in a big way. With our corporate offices in Encino, California being just two hours away from Qualcomm Stadium, the Chargers are our home team. We’re excited about the upcoming season, Go Bolts!”
