Liberty Bowl signs hotel booking partner
Travel website hotelplanner.com has become the official hotel booking partner of the Autozone Liberty Bowl for 2012 and 2013.
The Autozone Liberty Bowl is a US college football match played annually over the New Year’s holiday weekend, and this new agreement will see hotelplanner.com coordinate with the bowl’s official hotel partners to provide fans with online room reservations.
The financial terms of the partnership were not released.
Steve Ehrhart, executive director of the Autozone Liberty Bowl, said: “We're proud to partner with hotelplanner.com to offer our travelling fans their expertise. Hotelplanner.com will provide the visitors to the Autozone Liberty Bowl an easy and convenient means of booking their hotel rooms.”
"We're proud to be selected as the hotel booking provider of the Autozone Liberty Bowl,” said Tim Hentschel, chief executive of hotelplanner.com.
“We look forward to providing great service to the fans attending the Autozone Liberty Bowl and enhancing their bowl travel experience. Our job is to make the reservation process easy, efficient and provide multiple options for hotel accommodations at the best possible rates,” Hentschel added.
The travel website, started in 2002, has existing partnership agreements with Major League Baseball’s (MLB) New York Yankees, National Football League (NFL) franchises St. Louis Rams and Washington Redskins, the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Los Angeles Clippers and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL).
