Carmaker Lexus has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with the Buffalo Sabres National Hockey League (NHL) franchise to rename a club level lounge at First Niagara Center.
The Lexus Club, as the upscale hospitality facility will be known, will be open for all future events at the venue and offers views of Buffalo’s waterfront. The 500-capacity Club opened on Monday night with a launch party.
“The Lexus brand signifies class and quality and that’s exactly what the Lexus Club will offer our fans when they visit,” said John Livsey, Sabre’ vice president of sales and business development. “It's an honour for us to rename our club overlooking the harbour after them and to grow our partnership with Lexus.”
Though primarily known as the home of the Sabres, First Niagara Center is also the home to the National Lacrosse League’s Buffalo Bandits and plays host to a variety of other entertainment events.
“Northtown Lexus is proud to expand our longstanding partnership with the Buffalo Sabres with the announcement of the all-new Lexus Club,” said David DiPasquale, general manager of Northtown Lexus. “We believe the association continues to grow Northtown Lexus and the Lexus brand to Sabres fans and all those who attend events at First Niagara Center.”
“The Lexus Club will be another great addition to all of the exciting changes that we have seen over the past year at First Niagara Center and with the redesigned Lexus vehicle line-up. The new look of the Lexus Club will enhance the brands and offer fans a very upscale experience.”
