Top-flight English soccer side Leicester City have named W88 as their official betting partner for the next two seasons.
The deal, which was brokered by Lagardère Sports agency, will see the online betting brand benefit from brand exposure on pitchside LED advertising at the Premier League club’s King Power Stadium until the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
In addition, W88 will be able to leverage the Foxes’ brand in its marketing activities, while it will also be given access to the club’s first team players to develop unique content.
“It’s exciting to have such an ambitious brand on board and we look forward to creating unique content and offerings for our fans in the UK and around the world,” said Leicester’s commercial director Jonathan Gregory.
The agreement comes shortly after W88 was announced as the shirt sponsor of recently promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers in what was described as ‘the largest in the club’s history’.
“We are confident that our partnership with Leicester City will allow us to bring football fans and customers in Asia closer to the club, and we look forward to engaging with them to build lasting relationships,” added a spokesperson from W88.
