The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Los Angeles Kings have entered into a partnership with financial services firm UBS.

The deal, which was brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, will see UBS benefit from a prominent presence during all of the California-based ice hockey team’s locally televised regular season home games, as well as exposure on the franchise’s official website.

In addition, UBS will be the presenting sponsor of each Kings power play during all home games. The two parties will also collaborate on a variety of social and digital activations to promote the partnership.

“The LA Kings are excited to welcome UBS to our family of partners,” said Josh Veilleux, LA Kings vice president of corporate partnerships. “We are thrilled to work with them to further strengthen their brand here in Los Angeles and look forward to bringing even more value to our fans through this partnership.”

Lane Strumlauf, west division director for UBS Wealth Management USA, added: “The LA Kings have established themselves as one of the most exciting sports teams in Los Angeles, and we’re proud to be a part of that ongoing success.”

The Kings are third in the NHL’s Pacific Division, and require just one more point from their remaining two games to clinch a play-off berth for the first time since 2016.
