British tennis player Kyle Edmund has appointed StarWing Sports as his sole representative.
The 22-year old Briton joins the London-headquartered sports agency from IMG Tennis. StarWing Sports also represents tennis stars Stan Wawrinka, Gaël Monfils, Borna Coric and Kristina Mladenovic.
“[Kyle] is passionate and tremendously talented,” said Lawrence Frankopan, chief executive of StarWing. “We look forward to being part of his continued success. His strong, all-around game makes him a perfect next-generation player addition to the team’s world class portfolio.”
Edmund was forced to retire in the fourth set of his recent US Open third-round match against Canadian teenager Denis Shapovalov because of a neck and back injury. At the time of the injury Edmund trailed the 18-year old 6-3, 3-6, 3-6, 0-1.
