Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kings XI Punjab have announced a partnership with Fena.
The fabric and personal care brand serve as the principal sponsor of the Mohali-based outfit throughout the 2018 edition of the world-leading Twenty20 cricket tournament.
Fena will see its branding adorn the side’s playing jerseys, and Kings XI Punjab official merchandise will feature the firm’s logo.
In addition, Fena will enjoy an in-stadium presence on matchdays as well as significant brand exposure at the Kings XI’s home grounds, IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali and Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.
Santosh Saraswat, product manager at Fena, said: “Cricket has always been close to Indian sports lovers' hearts, and the stupendous popularity of IPL in the last ten years further validates that no other sport is as entertaining and uniting as cricket for the Indian viewers.
“With this year’s IPL getting even bigger and better, we take pride in extending our association with one of the best team in IPL, Kings XI Punjab. This partnership will increase our brand visibility and help us engage with cricket fans across the nation through the common spirit and pure raw entertainment of IPL cricket”.
Satish Menon, chief executive of Kings XI Punjab, added: “We are extremely delighted to announce our partnership with Fena as our principal sponsor for the season. It’s great to find synergies when you come across likeminded brands with a vision that aligns cohesively with your efforts. Fena has been exactly that for us and we're confident about how mutually beneficial this association is going to be for us all.”
Kings XI Punjab will open their 2018 IPL campaign when they travel to face the Delhi Daredevils on 8th April.
