Key Private Bank has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the National Hockey League's (NHL) Buffalo Sabres.
The multi-year deal will see the American financial services provider become the new official wealth management partner of the New York State-based ice hockey side.
Under the terms of the contract, Key Private Bank will enjoy a strong brand presence at the franchise’s KeyBank Center home.
The agreement is, however, separate to the one that already makes KeyBank - Key Private Bank’s parent organisation - the official bank of the Buffalo Sabres and naming rights holder to the KeyBank Center.
"Key Private Bank holds the same community values as its parent company and is the ideal fit as our official wealth management partner,” said Russ Brandon, managing partner and president of the Buffalo Sabres. “KeyBank has continually shown a commitment to the betterment of our community through programmes like the Community Benefits Plan.
“We are proud to call it the official bank of the Sabres and the naming rights partner of KeyBank Center. We are equally proud today to welcome Key Private Bank."
