Kentaro adds Russia, Albania and Ukraine to roster
International sports agency Kentaro has signed comprehensive marketing deals with the Russian Football Union (RFU), the Albanian Football Association (FSHF) and the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU).
Kentaro will exclusively market the second- and third-party television rights of all of the RFU's home qualification matches in the build up to Uefa Euro 2012. On top of that, Kentaro will also market the exclusive third-party broadcast and related media rights of all Uefa Euro 2012 home qualification and friendly matches of the Albanian national team.
"We are delighted to welcome the RFU and the FSHF to the ever-growing Kentaro family," said Kentaro chief executive Philipp Grothe. "Kentaro prides itself on having the most powerful and most successful global sales network and we are proud to have convinced two more federations of our capabilities."
Kentaro has also extended its deal with Ukraine, one of the co-hosts of Uefa Euro 2012. After marketing the FFU's 2010 Fifa World Cup qualification matches, Kentaro will distribute the international media rights of all of the Ukraine´s friendly matches prior to the tournament. "We have established a great cooperation with the FFU and look to further boost Ukrainian football in the coming years," added Marc Rautenberg, Kentaro's head of federation.
