Top-flight Italian soccer giants Juventus have announced that Betfair will be their new official gaming and betting partner.
The deal, which starts with the upcoming 2017/18 season, will allow the British bookmaker to use the Serie A side’s name and image rights in their promotional content throughout Europe, America and Oceania.
Additionally, Betfair branding will be made visible at the Turin-based club’s Allianz Stadium and training ground, as well as on the Old Lady’s publications across digital channels.
Giorgio Ricci, Juventus’ co-chief revenue officer and head of global partnerships and corporate revenues, said: “This partnership with Betfair fits perfectly with the club’s ambitions of global growth and confirms Juventus’ appeal to industry-leading brands around the world.”
Claudio Di Zanni, Betfair Italia’s country director, added: “We are proud to be working alongside a club synonymous with success in Italy and Europe.”
Juventus completed a domestic double in the 2016/17 season, securing a sixth successive Serie A title before defeating Lazio 2-0 in the final of the Coppa Italia cup competition.
