The Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad of the Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 cricket tournament have all announced new partnerships.

The Knight Riders have named American electronics brand JBL as their official sound partner for the 2018 season, which got underway with three games at the weekend. The one-year deal gives JBL branding rights for team merchandise and promotional activities throughout this year’s campaign.

“We are pleased to be associated with JBL, a brand known for its excellent audio performance and technological innovations,” said Venky Mysore, managing director and chief executive of the Knight Riders. “I am sure that the Knight Riders squad will enjoy the JBL products and with this partnership, we are hoping to infuse more energy into them and looking forward to our journey together.”

Meanwhile, RCB have followed up the announcement of their title partnership with OTT platform Eros Now by agreeing a tie-up with Domino’s Pizza. The pizza delivery giant’s logo will be visible on the non-leading arm of the team’s playing tops, while the company’s branding will also be on display at the club’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

“We are delighted to welcome Domino's Pizza on board with us this season,” said RCB chairman Amrit Thomas. “A brand with the objective to inspire people to celebrate small moments of happiness creates a great synergy to the core purpose of Royal Challengers Bangalore. We look forward to them sharing a great T20 season with the team and all RCB fans.”

Finally, Sunrisers Hyderabad have unveiled the Red FM radio station as a principal sponsor for the sixth consecutive year. As well as having its branding displayed on the team’s jerseys, Red FM will also work with Sunrisers Hyderabad to create content for both radio and digital platforms.
