Italian soccer giants Inter Milan have launched a new digital platform designed to improve the club's interacation with their commercial partners.

According to the club, the Inter B2B Portal - demonstrated at Inter's annual sponsor summit - will provide their commercial partners with access to the operational components of the relationship across event planning, imagery sourcing, ticketing requests and campaign approvals on a real-time basis, 24/7. 

Michael Gandler, Inter’s chief revenue officer, said: “In order to enable our partners to maximise their ROI, Inter has invested significantly into digital platforms that provide more meaningful engagement and increased efficiencies in accessing our 300 million plus fans around the world.”

In addition, for the forthcoming 2018/19 Serie A season, Inter are also launching their own online social network, the Inter Club Hub – Club Network, allowing members to both connect and interact with the Inter Club Coordination Centre in Milan. The platform features exclusive Inter Media House content available in four languages – Italian, English, Chinese and Indonesian.

Inter have also confirmed a new partnership with Monalisa Group making the Chinese tiling brand an official regional partner.

Rivals AC Milan have also signed a new deal in the country, penning a one-year partnership with the China Next Generation Education Foundation (CNGEF) to promote soccer in schools. 

Spanish second-tier soccer outfit CA Osasuna have agreed a four-year kit supply deal with Danish sportswear brand Hummel running until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Scottish top flight soccer club St Mirren have secured a 'six-figure' new four-year, naming rights deal that sees the club's stadium renamed The Simple Digital Arena. 

Fellow Scottish Premiership club Hearts have extended their partnership with Save the Children for another three years.

CEAT Ultimate Table Tennis has received a shot in the arm with the Indian Oil Corporation Limited joining the event as presenting sponsor.

The athletics department of Boise State University has signed a six-year extension to its partnership with US sportswear company Nike.

Scottish Pro14 rugby union club Edinburgh has unveiled financial advisory firm Principal & Prosper as its new main sponsor in a three-year deal.

In the wake of the US Supreme Court ruling on sports betting, domestic sports teams are clamouring for sponsorship deals with British bookmaker William Hill according to its US chief executive, Joseph Asher.

DAZN, the over-the-top (OTT) streaming service operated by digital sports media company Perform, has struck two-year deals with the Pakistan Cricket Board, Cricket West Indies and Sri Lanka Cricket, as well as a four-year agreement with the English and Wales Cricket Board, for live and on-demand rights for all formats of the game.
