Japanese healthcare organisation iCure has signed a strategic partnership with the Inter Academy, the youth development centre of Italian soccer giants Inter Milan.
iCure - which specialises in healthcare, physiotherapy and rehabilitation - will work with the academy’s medical team in order to improve players’ wellbeing, foster injury prevention, and develop an understanding of post-injury recovery and rehabilitation.
The company had previously worked with teams in the J1 League, Japan’s top-tier soccer league.
“We're delighted to enter into this new partnership which further underlines Inter's expansion as a brand both in Italy and abroad," said Javier Zanetti, vice president of Inter. "We're very proud to be able to share our experience in physiotherapy, rehabilitation and healthcare."
Eiichi Koizumi, chairman of iCure, added: “This is a great opportunity for us to benefit from the expertise of a prestigious club such as Inter, who are among the best in the business for physiotherapy and rehabilitation.”
