IEC in Sports has been appointed by the Womens Tennis Association (WTA) Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions to represent the tournament's international broadcast rights.

The tournament, which will take place in Bali, will offer 12 players the chance to earn US$600,000 in prize money and an opportunity to earn a US$1 million bonus.

"We are delighted to be invited to distribute the season-ending Championships for the International Series," said Jonas Persson, chief executive of IEC in Sports.

"IEC already represents 15 International Series WTA events around the globe and we expect the inclusion of this event to further boost the popularity of women's tennis amongst our broadcasters."

Kevin Livesey, the tournament director, said: "The Commonwealth Tournament of Champions promises to be a fantastic year-end finale for the Tour's International events.

"The event is a step up from the previous tier 111 WTA Bali, and was a favourite destination for the players."
