British golfer Ian Poulter has joined Viktre, a content platform that promotes the life of elite athletes across the globe.
The Ryder Cup star has been added to a roster of over 1,000 athletes on Viktre, which controls the sports stars’ brands and tell their stories in their own voice.
Poulter will star in an eight-part video series on the platform called the ‘The real Ian Poulter – a look inside’. The videos will offer viewers an exclusive look into the golfer’s life away from the fairways and thematic episodes will focus on ‘his love of cars, his passion for Arsenal FC, his journey into golf, and his support for his charity Dreamflight’. The first feature in this is titled Dreamflight.
Neither the financial terms nor the length of the partnership were announced.
"Viktre is the perfect complement to what I am already doing on social media,” said Poulter. “My partnership with Viktre makes it easier for me to control my brand and tell my stories. Viktre is a platform where I can talk about my love of cars, my charities and of course golf. What I’m most excited about, however, is that Viktre gives me a platform that easily connects me to athletes from different sports all over the world."
