Top-tier English soccer side Huddersfield Town have agreed one-year extensions of their partnerships with German agency Bockelkamp Sports Marketing and Easy Fireplace.
Bockelkamp will continue to help the club secure new partners in European markets outside of the UK. Meanwhile, Easy Fireplace will remain as a sponsor of the Premier League outfit for the duration of the 2017/18 season, and its logo will be imprinted on the first team’s training kit.
Huddersfield were promoted to the top flight of English soccer via the Championship play-offs in May.
Markus Bockelkamp, managing director of Bockelkamp Sports Marketing said: “Having brought Viessmann to the Town family this will hopefully be just the beginning of the arrival of German brands at Huddersfield. There is a huge potential across Europe and with the right approach we aim to bring more European businesses to Huddersfield Town.”
Commenting on the deal with Bockelkamp, Sean Jarvis, commercial director of Huddersfield Town, added: “As you can imagine we’ve had an increased interest since the beginning of last season and even more so since that special day at Wembley in May.
“The first deal signed was Viessmann which is fantastic for both the club and Viessmann. Working with Markus has opened doors which we are currently exploring and businesses in Central Europe want to be part of our journey as we embark on another chapter in the club’s history.”
Chris Worsley, owner of Easy Fireplaces, said: “We are so proud to continue our support and sponsorship with Huddersfield Town for another year working with the club, its partners and fans. We try and work closely with our fellow partners and this season will see the introduction of a much closer relationship with the Town fans as well which has grown year on year.”
Speaking about the renewal with Easy Fireplaces, Sean Jarvis added: “This is the third year Chris and his team have been partners of the club, with the Easy Fireplace logo now visible on both the training kit and walk out jackets - now featuring in the Premier League. It’s great to have Chris on board again and we’re happy with his continued support of the club.”
Despite being tipped as one of the favourites for relegation, Huddersfield are third in the Premier League following two wins and a draw from their opening games of the season. The Terriers play their next fixture away to West Ham United on 11th September.
