Top-tier Scottish soccer side Hibernian have announced a deal with Watermans Legal.
The Leith-based law firm will be the official legal partner of the Scottish Premiership outfit.
The length and financial details of the agreement have not been made public.
Scott Whyte, managing director of Watermans Legal, said, “The team at Watermans Legal has been providing first class legal advice and support to the people of Leith for over 30 years. We are a growing business aiming to establish ourselves as the ‘go-to’ firm in Leith for legal services.
“Hibernian has an incredibly rich history and are, without doubt, Leith’s most famous and well-supported institution. We look forward to developing a relationship with Hibs that will see the club’s fantastic and loyal supporters benefit from us dealing with their legal affairs off the park whilst cheering the team on to continued success on it.”
Laura Montgomery, head of sales and sponsorship at Hiberian, added, “We are thrilled to welcome Watermans Legal as an exciting new partner to the club.
“They are incredibly passionate about their community and keen to support the club and our supporters as best they can. I very much look forward to working with them.”
Hibernian are currently fourth in the Scottish Premiership after winning ten of their 24 games. They lost 1-0 away to league leaders Celtic on 27th January, and will host Motherwell on Wednesday.
