Top-tier Italian soccer side Hellas Verona have announced a five-year partnership with Macron.
The Italian sportswear manufacturer will serve as the Serie A outfit’s kit supplier from 1st July until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Macron will replace US sportswear brand Nike in the role, ending a supplier deal that has run since 2013.
Macron will also be involved in merchandising and retail initiatives, including the re-establishment of the club’s official store in the centre of Verona.
Maurizio Setti, president of Verona, said: “This choice was strongly desired, after considering the most important factors of the kit scene and after an evaluation period that lasted several months. Macron has proven to be close to our values and from this new partnership will be born the shirts, as well as an entire product range, from next season.”
Verona are currently 19th in Serie A, three points from safety from relegation with six matches of the 2018/19 season remaining. They lost 2-0 away against Bologna on Sunday, and will host Sassuolo on 18th April.
