The National Hockey League’s (NHL) newest franchise, the Vegas Golden Knights, have named Wynn Las Vegas as their official resort partner.
The multi-year deal will see the luxury resort and casino’s branding on display at the ice hockey club’s T-Mobile Arena, while it will also be a part of various activations during the team’s home games.
Players on the Golden Knights’ roster will also be involved in the partnership through appearances and engagements. The financial terms of the arrangement have not been disclosed.
Vegas Golden Knights president Kerry Bubolz said: “Wynn Resorts is one of the premier luxury hotel brands in the world and we look forward to collaborating on activations during Vegas Golden Knights home games and appearances with the Golden Knights team.
“The Vegas Golden Knights have had a tremendous inaugural year and such a positive impact on our local community,” added Maurice Wooden, president of Wynn Las Vegas. “We are proud to be a sponsor of the team and look forward to many successful seasons to come.”
The high-flying Golden Knights are ten points clear at the top of the NHL’s Pacific Division, and look set to clinch a play-off berth in their debut NHL season. They host the Minnesota Wild in their next game on Friday.
