German Tennis Association extends Porsche partnership

Automotive manufacturer Porsche will remain as the German Tennis Association’s (DTB) premium partner for a further two years.

The sponsorship agreement will continue to focus on women's tennis and the German car giant will stay on as the naming partner of Germany’s Fed Cup team, who have been officially known as Porsche Team Germany since 2012.

The cooperation will also include the backing of the Porsche Talent Team, a national development programme that has helped foster prospects such as two-time Grand Slam winner Angelique Kerber, 2007 and 2009 German national Andrea Petkovic and 2014 Fed Cup finalist Julia Görges.

Porsche has been a sponsor of women's tennis for 40 years and is currently a partner of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
