Frontier Communications has become an official partner of the LA Kings ice hockey team and a founding partner of the StubHub Center in Los Angeles.
Under the deal, Frontier will receive premium venue signage at StubHub Center, a multi-use complex which includes a 27,000-seat soccer stadium, plus activation rights at the Kings’ home National Hockey League (NHL) games at Staples Center.
The multi-year deal was signed with AEG Global Partnerships, the sponsorship division of sports and entertainment company AEG, which owns the Kings and the StubHub Center, among other properties. Financial terms have not been released.
“We are thrilled to be a sponsor and community partner of the Kings and StubHub Center,” said Joe Gamble, Frontier’s senior vice president of customer operations.
“Our partnership with the LA Kings and StubHub Center helps further strengthen our ties to Southern California customers and the business community.”
Frontier, a Fortune 500 company, provides communications services in 29 US states. Its existing sports sponsorship portfolio includes a three-year jersey deal with the Connecticut Sun of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
