Soccer: Second-tier German soccer club Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed a partnership with China's Beijing-based BG FC. The 2. Bundesliga side and the Chinese League One team will share knowledge and conduct employee transfers.

Basketball: Vehicle rental company Sixt has agreed a sponsorship deal with German basketball team Brose Bamberg. Sixt's branding will appear on the team's jerseys during Basketball Bundesliga games, around the Brose Arena and in digital campaigns.

Rugby: Top-tier English rugby union side Northampton Saints have agreed a sponsorship deal with compression wear brand 2XU. The Australian company will supply its products to the Aviva Premiership team's players and will make a range available at the club shop at Franklin's Gardens.

Equestrianism: Event promoter EEM, the company behind the Longines Masters series, and the European Equestrian Federation have announced the Masters Riders Cup, a new event for 2017 pitting Europe's best equestrians against the best of the US. The inaugural contest will take place during the Longines Masters of Paris in December 2017.

College sports: College football's Detroit bowl game, played at the Detroit Lions' Ford Field and featuring teams from the Big Ten Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), has secured continued title sponsorship from Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center. The 2016 edition of the game will be played on 26th December.

Motorcycling: British Superbike champions Ducati Race Team have renewed their sponsorship with Be Wiser Insurance, whose owl branding will remain on the PBM-managed outfit's bikes in the 2017 season.

Boxing: Mouthguard manufacturer Opro has become an official supplier to England Boxing.

Darts: Bookmaker Happybet has reportedly extended as the title sponsor of the European Darts Tour, a series run by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), for 2017. According to Sponsors.de, the deal is worth a low six-figure sum.
