Basketball: The Malaysia Basketball Association (Maba) has agreed one-year sponsorships with Westports Malaysia and property firm PRG Holdings, worth RM2.5 million (US$560,000) and RM1 million (US$225,000) respectively.

Soccer: Toyota has acquired the naming rights to the stadium of American soccer side Saint Louis FC. The stadium, which is located in the world wide technology soccer park, will be known as the Toyota stadium.

Nascar: Wood Brothers Racing driver Ryan Blaney has signed a personal endorsement deal with premium sports drink BodyArmour.  The American will appear in advertising campaigns and be featured in digital and social media activations.

Horse racing: The New Zealand Jockey’s Association has secured a five-year national sponsorship deal with Al Basti Equiworld. The Dubai-based company will support all licensed jockeys and apprentices them with race day breeches and financial support.

Baseball: The Azuma Baseball Stadium in Fukushima has been announced as a host venue for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, when it will host at least one match each in baseball and softball.
