Snooker: World Snooker has struck a deal with online bookmaker 888sport, which becomes the main partner of next week's European Masters in Belgium. The event runs from 2nd to 8th October in the city of Lommel.

Basketball: NBA China, the Chinese arm of the National Basketball Association, has confirmed two new partnerships with Shandong Linglong Tire and Chinese liquor maker Jiannanchun Group. Both companies will sponsor the 2017 NBA Global Games China.

Horse racing: Juddmonte Farms has added the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket to its sponsorship portfoilio. The award-winning breeding farm, owned by Prince Khalid bin Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, will put its name to this Saturday's group one race at Newmarket, where it also sponsors the Middle Park Stakes and the Royal Lodge Stakes.

College sports: Fox Sports has picked up the rights to show basketball and football from the US' National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in Italy. The deal will see Fox Sports show two football games and two basketball ball games per week throughout the 2017/18 NCAA season, as well as the National Championship and key 'bowl' fixtures during the campaign.

Soccer: Uefa's second-tier continental club soccer competition the Europa League will be available to Norwegian fans via pay-TV service TV2.
