Rugby: Transport specialist CM Downton has renewed its sponsorship of Gloucester Rugby for a further season, extending a partnership that began over a decade ago. The firm's logo will continue to appear on Gloucester's shirts and shorts throughout the 2017/18 English Premiership season.

Ice hockey: The Nottingham Lions, who play in England's National Ice Hockey League, have renewed their partnership with business management software provider Solutions for Accounting and CRM for another three years. Solutions' name will be displayed on the Lions' playing jerseys and training gear until 2020.

Soccer: Motorpoint, the UK's largest independent car retailer, will continue to sponsor the Motorpoint Stand at soccer side Peterborough United's London Road Stadium for a further three years. The third-tier side will continue to display Motorpoint's branding until the end of the 2019/20 season.

Motorcycling: Italian sparkling winemaker Prosecco DOC has become the title sponsor of the German round of the 2017 World Superbike (WorldSBK) season, adding the naming rights for race to its overall sponsorship with the motorcycling series.

Basketball: The JCU Townsville Fire, a side in Australia's Women's National Basketball League (WNBL), have announced a major partnership with the Australian Army for the 2017/18 season. Army branding will appear on the back of the Fire's playing kit throughout the campaign.
