Friday’s Daily Deal Round-Up: NHL’s Spanish TV play-off deal and more

Ice hockey: Mediapro has secured the broadcast rights in Spain to the National Hockey League (NHL) conference finals. The ice hockey play-off games, the winners of which progress to the season-ending Stanley Cup series, will be broadcast live via Gol's over-the-top (OTT) streaming service, with the Gol TV channel set to show the game on delay in the European afternoon.

Swimming: The European Swimming League (LEN) has agreed a partnership with swimwear brand Tyr Sport, which will become the official supplier to the organisation across all aquatic disciplines.

Water polo: Telecoms brand Ovo Mobile has agreed a four-year sponsorship and media partnership with Water Polo Australia. The deal will see Ovo broadcast National Water Polo League events live over its mobile and digital platforms through its OvoPlay app.

College sports: Technology solutions provider ANC will install a new main video display at Sun Devil Stadium, the home of the Arizona State University football team. At 47 feet high and 113 feet wide, the screen will be among the ten biggest in US college football.

Athletics: Polish sprinter Ewa Swoboda has agreed a personal endorsement deal with Italian car manufacturer Fiat. The 19-year-old will appear in national campaigns for the Fiat 500X.

Skiing: Italian skier Christof Innerhofer has signed a two-year endorsement and supply deal with Rossignol, and will use the French brand's skis, boots, poles, helmets, and eyewear in training and competition until 2019.
